Students and staff connect for Mid-Autumn Festival
We celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival at our Takapuna Campus yesterday.
We celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival at our Takapuna Campus yesterday.
The Mid-Autum Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is one of the most important traditional festivals in East Asia, celebrated in countries including China, Vietnam, Korea, and Japan, as well as among communities around the world.
It is a time to celebrate the harvest, the full moon, and the gathering of family.
We had an amazing event with students and staff from different programs coming together to learn about the festival and taste mooncakes and mochi.
It was a great example of Whakawhanaungatanga (Connection), which is one of the organisation's core values.
