Students received two types of awards. The Excellent Scholars Awards recognise the students with the highest combined grades for the previous study block, while Special Awards recognise students who have made a strong contribution to the AIC community.

Te Kaihapai Sean Bell said AIC is a values-based campus where Excellence (Whakatairangi) is one of the core values. He said the winners had not only achieved strong results but had also shown hard work, resilience, and determination in overcoming challenges.

Academic Director Russell Harray said the students had achieved success through small, consistent steps. He said they participated in class discussions by asking questions and sharing their knowledge with others.

Many of the recipients also support other students through roles such as peer tutoring, mentoring, and ICT support.

Students were invited to say a few words about their experiences during the study block and their achievements. Many thanked staff and their families for their support. Information Technology student Lei Sun said he was grateful to be studying in such a warm and positive community.

Our Excellent Scholars were Satwinderjot Kaur, Jiahui Ma, Paras, Lei Sun, Shanibhai Bharatbhai Miyani, Seleena Marie Padilla Guledew, Digvijit Kaul, Marbea Jacinto Linsangan, and Maria Elena Anievas Magtibay.

Special Awards recipients were Ina Sangachhen, Sujal Rajubhai Gajera, Chuhan Cong, Maanveer Singh Brar, and Galbokka Hewage Meenudie Nimangana Silva.
